Very good Thai food, gladly again.
If you are in Starnberg you should definitely visit this Thai restaurant. Is small but very nice. The dishes are all freshly prepared and are without flavor enhancers! Seldom eaten so good Thai!
Good atmosphere and decent food. Friendly staff, but very poor service from our waiter.
Worth it!
Uniquely good authentic Thai cuisine as found on holiday so far no better
We loved it. Lovely staff.
Great food
Great. You can only find such good Thai food in Thailand. No kidding.
Tastes very good, service friendly, small but fine restaurant.
In the kitchen is a Thai, delicious, authentic food and absolutely friendly, customer-oriented service. But beware - who orders "thai" gets thai ...;) Not for the weak stomachs. That's why 5 stars; a real insider tip away from the mainstream
Terrible food. Terrible drinks. Terrible pricing. 32 thumbs down
Delicious ... friendly staff highly recommended
Great food with nice workers
Real Thai food, friendly staff, nice outside terrace
Delicious, authentic food prepared with love and passion. The service was excellent and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is also right!
Very nice and delicious!
I love this original Thai cuisine with always fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!
The food and the service were excellent. Very friendly staff and owner. Must have when in Starnberg.
Excellent service and restaurant ... Commitment only for a common toilet.
This Pad Thai tastes how it should snail. Great service, very friendly and a beautiful ambiance! Very quiet and romantic. 🤩
The Sabai in Starnberg is terrific. The food is delicious and fresh and I suspect that also. Tofu is homemade because it tastes delicious! The waiter is very friendly and personable and makes sure that all guests feel comfortable. If you live in Starnberg or the surrounding area you should stop by or have the delicious food delivered.
Recommend this place, 100%! Fresh ingredients and remember to ask for the thai ice tea with milk 🤗 very lovely atmosphere.
A regular weekly stop for us. I love the Pad Thai, Tom Carr Gai and the curry dishes. The dishes are Spiced to your preference. The staff is amazing
Super delicious, freshly prepared food, I always go back to this place. Very nice owner and also the team ....
First the Tom Ka Gai soup is the best I’ve ever tasted. The Pad Thai brought me back to my visit to Thailand. It was amazing! Our server was very personable and made us feel like we were their special guests. Will we be back? Most definitely!
The service, which is also a cook, is very nice and always in a good mood. The food is always prepared and really delicious every time. We have often tried roasted vegetables and various curries. The lunch menu includes spring rolls with a delicious dip.
Ok
Friendly efficient staff, cosy intimate spot, delicious red curry prawns, recommended
Great authentic Thai-food. The small team is very friendly, and I always enjoy the ambiance. Better get a reservation before you go there.
Great food, romantic terrace and the boss infinitely friendly.
Really great proper Thai food run by a great bunch highly recommended
It was a disappointing experience after the good reviews! I wanted to end a cozy birthday with my family, but apart from the beautiful outdoor terrace (noisy, because too close to the street) and the weather, there was hardly anything positive. It started with the completely spoiled service, who found it difficult to take the order at all. We then had to wait an hour for our food to be served and my order (admittedly with special requests) was also wrong. The dish with the roast duck was very sparingly stocked with meat, the salad with chicken was not good, only the curry was applauded. The second star is for the fair behavior of the boss, who did not calculate my order. Still, it was a failed evening and I will avoid the place in the future.
Some of the best food you can get in starnberg. Very nicely decorated as well and very authentic
Great authentic Thai food with just the best team...thanks Jinda
Amazing authentic Thai food! I love the spring rolls and the red curry - almost more than I loved the food I ate in Phuket! Also the staff is super friendly and makes every visit wonderful :)
This hiddem gem is situated in a secluded side street, hidden from the crazy crowds that plague the Starnberg lakeside. They have a lovely garden terrace, where you can enjoy their authentic dishes and sip your thai tea in peace. They will grind their fresh herbs and peppers in a proper morter and pestle, the kitchen is on display and they are proud of their work. If you care about seeing what goes into your food, everything is on display there and you can buy your own ingridients in the cozy shop next door. The restaurant owner (Jinda) and her staff are extra friendly, and they have a loyal local following. Well worth the visit. There is no large sign on the street, you have to know it to find it.
Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had! Plus, the staff is super friendly and speak English, so this is great for English speaking travelers!
I enjoy my food very much every time I eat here!
Staff dressed unprofessionally
Cosy place with great food and a great atmosphere
Deliciously prepared and nicely arranged Thai dishes in a new and stylishly furnished restaurant. Very friendly staff. Recommendable.
I have been to this restaurant several times and I can highly recommend it! The food is delicious and the upbeat but peaceful atmosphere created by the staff is second to none. Booking a table before 5.30pm and staying after 9.30pm poses no problem for the delightful restaurant owner Jinda,, who is flexible about her opening hours (one aspect that makes this quaint restaurant unique!!). Although small, The Sabai will also cater for parties and offers take away if requested. Try it...you will not be disappointed!
Red and green curry, very very tasty! The service is attentive and friendly. The opening times could be longer or open earlier.
Unfortunately not according to our expectations, as we have been to many authentic Thai restaurants and are always there .. The summer rolls were ok, the green garlic dip was too watery to call it a dip The Tom ka ghai soup consisted almost entirely of water, so it was very tasteless, as was the typical light sweetness and acidity The main course panaeng gai was ok, because it was also very tasteless and watery The bitterest disappointment was indeed the soup. 1 whole star for the young gentleman as an extremely polite waiter PS the soup went back completely and was still dressed
